Introduction

Oda Nobunaga is known as the first of the three great unifiers in Japan. Thanks to him and the two blokes that came after him, Japan was transformed from a fractious nation into a unified realm. But how did he do this? Quite simply, he spent his entire life at war. He didn't quite see it complete, however. We'll obviously talk about that in due course. And also by the end of things, what he didn't manage to get up to as well.
