Matt: I think with the connection to cognition or maybe even sentience that some of the Midnight monsters have, it definitely triggers me a little bit when I see an actual name thrown out. It doesn't necessarily have anything beyond that. Whereas potentially a thing with consciousness, once a name, and that to me is what intrigues me. Moving on with some more aether stuff, we have some very intriguing descriptions of what happens when Tress tries to use Midnight Aether. When I read this the second time through, it really reminded me of pouring silver on a person touched by shades and threnity.
