Genetic Dystonia Syndromes

DyT 1 is as far as genetic dystonia syndromes are concerned is relatively common. And it's important to know about because if somebody has an early onset in childhood or adolescence of a generalized dystonia, these patients actually respond really well to deep brain stimulation.
