Todd's book gives a really in-depth look into Elliot's life and has lots of interesting stories, particularly about his early upbringing in Texas. Todd very kindly gave me some of his time to discuss, first and foremost, his favourite Elliot Smith song. But we also chatted about how he came to write the book and a few of the things he found out while working on it. My impulse is to defy your premise because there's just so many good ones.
