After 80 years of secular social ring, people are still voting for bearded men who say, alawakmer and hold a coran. This idea that the identity islamic idint still please such a power roll in political decision making has not worked. I remember in 20 13, i was in egypt during the presidential elections. And i asked somebody, who re youe voting for? He said, i voted for mercy. If he fears al la ala will make everything easy for him. That's why i think, rather than a decline, we're actiong now towards the stage whereby we're getting towards the cross roads with moslems growing up in the west.
