i was fascinated by some of these laboratory studies that actually show an increase in a capacity to perform certain creative tasks. Yet there's no evidence that gogles whisky room is adversely impacting their success. The key to these tasks is there's no algorithm to get it right. It's nounds like a math problem. Edward, who’s a professor at the University of British Columbia and self-proclaimed “philosophical hedonist,” says that far from being an evolutionary fluke, our taste for alcohol is an evolutionary advantage — one that we’ve relied on for millennia to help us lead more social, creative, and pleasurable lives.
