I still very much feel her love and support. It's just something that's completely new to them. I am their gay son and they just found this out after 25 years of raising me. They will let fall some of those biases and judgments that they have about gays and lesbians. And now what follows is going to be some frustration, but you might also find your way to a new relationship that is far better than the one you've ever had before with them.
