I'm glad we have books on prayer. But isn't it interesting, how often when i feel the spirit of god convicting me to go spend time in prayer, rather than praying? The reality is, what i need is jesus. And and that's what the word is proclaiming. If you want to pray, start to pray. The holy spirit will lead you. It's not through some special technique that i find freedom from my addictions. We are obsessed with information. We're obsessed with hattogrow church in ten easy steps. That should not replace the reality of the spiritual life in your life.
