I always picked work and family and friends came last, or, you know, came second. So try to find that balance in politics is not for the faint hearted. The only way the system changes is by participation. Newer, younger voices, opinions, perspectives, come to the table. That's how things change. I hope when he is old enough to read this book, that he will read it and say, i'm really proud of my mammy and what she tried to do,. And i'm glad she tried to help my dad.
