How did our universe start? Ah, how did it evolve into the state we see? Now, that's a very interesting question. But i don't think there's any special insight into it in that book. There is no such thing as the reason why the universe exists. That i think, is the most straightforward answer. And is that satisfying or not? Eh, i don't know. Never promised you a rose garden. No reason why ophical questions have to have satisfying answers. They just hade to have true answers.
