Directing How to Train Your Dragon

Dean Obeidallah wrote the screenplay for How to Train Your Dragon. The film is based on a book that was written by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. He says he and co-director Roger Deakins were given three mandates from DreamWorks' Jeffrey Katzenberg. "I think I always come to projects even if they're animated with a live action sensibility"
