You don't want somebody that has worked behind the counter at a fast food establishment for four years. These people know how to play as a team. They know how to help others succeed. And if they are, bring them on, train them as best you can and watch them win. Be realistic about ramp time. This is probably one of the most convoluted and strange misunderstandings that I see between candidates that have come on and they're brand new to the role. Leaders put really unrealistic goals in front of people that are new. Sometimes you can base it on experience. It works on both sides of the fence here.
