Is There a Role for Remote Learning at Spellman College?
There will be a role for remote. We've learned that what our students really value are the lationships that they forge when they are here person to peer, student of faculty, student to advisers. So i think there are ways to think of it where certain courses might work well taught remotely. It was on the campus of spellman that we incubated one of the major voices in the efforts against voter suppression. There were lot of words and promises from businesses a year ago about investment in the black community, in black talent. Have those words been matched with action? To a great extent, yes.
