How to Contain Your Feelings
I find that there's so much talk these days about thinking positive and this complete disregard for worries or just telling the voice you had to shut up. And I find that if I try and deny my worries and my concerns they get bigger because they're valid to me. So I feel like if you shove positivity down your throat and deny all negativity it'll come back to kind of bite you in the arse. Actually validating our emotions is one of the most helpful things we can do to ourselves or for ourselves. We need to be more realistic in our perspective. Life is frickin hard and it's full of suffering and pain and difficulty as well as more enjoyable experiences and happiness
