Feedback Is the Invitation Forward
For a man, that right there is subverting the patriarchy. Because what you've been taught is a man is when you get feedback, you spin it and stick it back on the other person. When a man blocks a woman's feedback, he puts her in a place where she feels like every woman in her lineage that she has watched become an invisible woman n she has. And of course, it is a massive way to validate your female partner, rigt. The moment she sees you sitting with it, letting it in, she feels seen, heard, under stood, invalidated - something that women for generations and generations have not felt and experienced.
