There's a project called react x r, which allows you to build a react application. You can create regular looking react components that function as normal react components do. The biggest one that you'll run into fairly quickly is a needing to make up dates to things in real time. It definitely takes a different mode of thinking to beout to operate in that way. But there are real advantages to building on the web.
