The Minimum Wage for the Fast Food Industry

The council would oversee any outlet that has a hundred or more stores, restaurants in the state. They get to establish a minimum wage for the fast food industry of as high as 22 dollars an hour. Business and macdonald's are fighting really hard against this. The franchise people argue like if you only have two macdonalds, you would still be subject to the councils minimum standards but you're technically a small business owner. And then they say like, you know, it'll force us to raise the price of burghers. I'm all in favour of raising the price of Burghers and automating more.
