The Inquisition and the Death of the Church
Not one of these major works that any of these friars did was allowed to survive. If it's there, it's locked up somewhere in Spain. But we have lost so much of this ability to diffuse because when the Spaniards got over here, they realized how similar it was to everything in Europe. And what's significant about that is a lot of these places like the Spanish Empire, right? They're all deriving their power, the Inquisition from the validity of this shit in the church.
