The Difference Between a Minor Heart Attack and a Really Big One

A minor heart attack would be one where the blockage is perhaps more distal. And the blood vessel that it's impacting is one that supplies less of the heart muscle or the myocardium as we call it. Now, if you have a larger heart attack, then usually we're thinking of more proximal blood vessels. So blood vessels sort of that supply a greater territory of theheart muscle or myocardium.
