The multiverse is perhaps the most far-reaching and bizarre, you know, a scientific hypothesis or paradigm. If we were to see two universes that are each expanding since their own big bangs, they will eventually come into contact. Another universe will make a physical dent which can be perceived according to my colleagues in astrophysics and cosmology. That's what I'm calling the dent in the universe.
