The Differences Between Systematic and Orthocratic Philosophy
I think a platonic, socratic philosophy has built within its understanding of philosophy or within its quote unquote system, the starting point. If you say philosophy is dialectical or dialogic in character, you're acknowledging that it has a starting point in a particular opinion or a particular experience. This is dramatized or very vividly in the dialogues by the everyday circumstances that give rise to these conversations.
