The Effects of Cameras on Police Behavior
A lot of jurisdictions, when they did do these evaluations and found null effects, kept the cameras anyway. It still gives people some peace of mind that they could hold someone accountable in a really extreme event. And also as I look at the survey question, increasing accountability for police misconduct will improve public safety. That's not necessarily the same as lead to more convictions of police for abuse, is it? Right.
