Why Do Philosophers Neglect Taste and Gourdatory Aesthetics?
Philosophy is dominated by a prejudice against the body and towards the mind, says David Frum. He argues that this bias has been ingrained in Western philosophy for so long it's hard to break away from. The Christian tradition of purifying the soul may also have played a role as philosophers are more concerned with how we feel rather than what we know about our physical bodies.
