Is Europe Running Out of Gas This Winter?

Nord stream one pipe line, which pumps gas from russia to europe, was shut down for ten days. Politicians were worried that russia wouldn't turn it back on as a way of getting leverage in the war on ukraine. It is back up now, but it's still not running at full capacity. Things are still pretty uncertain with winter coming up. But there's no denying that re activating coal plants does have a climate impact. The real risk is anything that's called a lock in effect. So decisions taken now might lead us to burn fossil fuels for far longer than we would if we hadn't taken tus decisions.
