Obed's Birth Predicts the Advent of God's Own Son
All of the action takes place in Bethlehem where Christ was to be born. It's clear that Obed was in the line of, of Messiah and both of them were born in Bethlehem,. Both of them were much looked for and appreciated. But of course, Obed didn't do any true redeeming. He, he was a person who stood in the line. And we don't, we know that Boas did an act of redemption, not always pictured in Christ's toning work later.
