How to Survive Manipulation

The surprise meeting is where like, Hey, man, can we grab coffee? And to be fair, if your services of pastor, congregants do this to you as well. The best way to deal with people who don't show up for a meeting is not to trick them into it but just tell them what the issue is and let them work through that in their own time. You know, when you do these things out there, because it's not always clear whether they're honorable intentions or not, I'm sure some are going to get mad at me later on. But most pastors will eventually learn how to handle those situations more effectively.
