The Values of Underpainting

Sarah says that from a light and shadow standpoint obviously you need a value plan because it first comes down to value right yes for sure. We talk about Sarah's painting process in full detail in episode 22 I'll link to that in the show notes but she does often do value studies for her paintings. "I don't do a value study for every single painting of mine but I do take a look at values in my underpainting process"
