How Does Latid Thinking Work?
Lateral thinking is a concept where we try to dislocate the normal thought patterns that we have when we solve problems. So normally, people think linearly and logically about how to solve a problem. It's like thinking differently about things. In medicine, you may have somebody that comes in with a headache and they've got a pretty straightforward problem. But if you can sort of train your mind to think of other solutions, even if they don't seem the best one right away, just get em on paper, talk about it with other people, you can sometimes come up with better solutions than you initially thought of.
