How to Convert From Elixir Modes to LSP Modes
Lexical uses a lot of protocols to control conversion from Elixir modes to LSP modes being Microsoft. The language server protocol speaks UTF-16 instead ofUTF-8. So you can speak in terms of lexical documents, which are elixir documents. You can operate on them as you would normally operate on normal text files. But when they get emitted by the language server, they go through a conversion process that is transparent and very fast.
