Is It a Rhetorical Many?

i believe in jesus and the eye witnesses many is kind of a rhetorical flourish. i don't think that that's strong evidence of matthew coming before luke, in terms of him saying he wants to write an orderly account. And so it's not just luke that did an orderly account; Matthew did as well. At least, this is ha current idea i'm exploring,. That mark is actually a collection of notes, what was called, in the ancient world, a hepomnemata. It was meant to be the basis of something in greater literary order.
