Stoke would be the last credible threat that actually led to a battle. The almost complete lack of support from the country was a very clear message. There was no groundswell of support to bring back a Yorkist dynasty which had no clear leaders. Of course saying goodbye to the Wars of the Roses is an emotional moment for me.
