"The girl from plainville" is based on the true story of a young woman named michel carter and her boy friend, conrad roy. The pair were in a long distance relationship because they lived in different states but taxed each other. It was later revealed thatmichel carter had sort of talked him into committing suicide. And this show dramatizes that. elf anning plays a muche carter, and she's really good here. But like i said, don't go into this if you're not in the best head space, cause it's going to leave you feeling kind of miserable.
