If there is no timer and no specific directive as to what i'm doing, i don't clean. The other thing that helps me out is combining a task with something, maybe that i'm already doing. If you want to find your way in the other end of that, try setting a 15 minute timer in between work that you don't have a problem doing. Use it as a break, and give yourself permission to quit after 15 minutes. Watch what happens. You will be amazed at what you can do in 15 minutes. Negativity sucks.
