In ancient rome, family counts for everything. Caesar's crime is one of guilt by association with his aunt Marius. The line from which caesar descends was once one of the city's foremost clans. His father keeled over while bending to tie his shoes or his sandals - a classic sign of a heart attack. He marries a fellow tin named cornelia and has an influential sister-in-law. But when he finds sulla in a merciful mood she will let him live. Sheurelia pulls her hand out at every opportunity but it doesn't work. As the story goes, the youth becomes sougtency on his feet.
