Do You Think the Hearsay Rule Applies to a Criminal Trial?
Cassidy hutchison testifying to what she heard trump say is not hearsay. But if you wanted to prove that these things happened in criminal court, then those rules would apply. It's explicitly non hearsay under what's called the statement of a party opponent. When you're suing someone or prosecuting them, then their statements are definitionly not hearsay unless you're suing the secret service agent.
