With so much organic interest in the product, we were able to launch a crowd campaign that raised three million dollars,. which was a record for food products at the time and still stands in the consumer package goods category. The name of the product itself, soilent a, had something to do with the attention that the company was starting to get in those early days. Was it the word soilint that was gantobe? It definitely stimulated som some conversation. I'm a huge fan of the movie and the book, the soil ang green. Soiland green is the secret of soilent green
