Heat Pumps

Researchers simulated outcomes of widespread heat pump adoption. They found that around one third of homes in the US would benefit from heat pumps. The other two thirds would actually end up costing more for the homeowner. Some would even cause more pollution and emissions than just using regular furnaces in AC.
