What Would a Type Two Civilization Look Like?

A type two civilization could harness all of the power from a star and not have to use it. The structure would radiate infrared or millimeter wave waste heat in all directions. This energy doesn't just disappear even if you use it, it has to go out in some sort of waste heat. You know emitting carbon in the atmosphere but also producing tons of waste heat and other unintended waste products.
