The Tragedy of Israel's Failure
You said with so much anticipation of failure on the part of its foes and so much dissension among its friends it is a miracle that Israel succeeded to any degree at all. Well everybody fails in one way or another that's the gap of failure that's where we all are I think but because of that and because we should be armed with that knowledge we shouldn't be surprised when things go wrong. We shouldn't be surprise that Israel does not live up to some of the dreams and aspirations that the early Zionist had nothing was ever going to live up to that.
