Should Certain Books Be Banned in School?
Yasha Binder: I teach on identity and liberalism and democracy. She says she makes a strong and ringing defense of free speech, including against some of the ideas that are now popular on the progressive left. The move to use coercive power to reshape the culture of the United States from the top down is a deep threat to the culture of free speech in this country,. It is deeply un-American and we should oppose it.
