The Most Loving Thing to Do Is the Most Offensive Thing to Do

Peter boldly claims the name of Jesus Christ and he knows that it's offensive. He says, let it be known to you. It's all the people of Israel that by the name ofJesus Christ the Nazarene whom you crucified just turns up the heat. The church does not do what Peter does because there's this refusal to be offensive to people. And things would be so much easier for us if we would just shut up about Jesus.
