How to Be an Effective Advisor
I think a minimum that is really good is usually six months because then we see whether we had some impact in the company first of all, but they should not take longer than a year. My best engagements, however, have been multi-year. So with MongoDB, I was there as an advisor for over three years. And it was fantastic because I saw so many different stages of them going through and helping them along the way. With CRISP, I was almost two years with them. It's interesting that you said what is kind of acceptable like in a CV because I was always worried about my CV too.
