The State of Academic Psychology

There's a lot more openness to approaches what we sometimes call third wave approaches or integrative approaches that are. less doctrinaire in terms of kind of being either hardcore behavioral in their underlying, you know, theoretical commitments. People are experimenting with psychedelics. There's just like a lot more of a recognition of how little we know and a kind of willingness to explore different perspectives. It sounds like another topic for another show. How is the state of academic psychology seems better today than 50 years ago? Well, I wasn't around 50 years ago. I can speak to up to 15, 20 years ago. And I can sort of imagine how things might have been.
