CHAPTER

How to Start a Novel

I feel like for each book it's kind of been a little bit different and often it usually but they often start the same way which is like a random sentence on a notes app in my phone. With KISS Bread it was kind of like the story and with Blue Ticket it was actually it was more the idea for a character who was not allowed to be pregnant but wanted to be pregnant and became pregnant that then kind of transformed. I just feel like it starts with a lot. But I think from it normally kind of develops into character for me because I am so interested in kind of the interiority of the characters and interested in their experience more than a kind of larger world building.
