How to Crack the USSR Mystery
In 1989, for KLA outside produced this series, UFOs, the best evidence. We did a follow-up series the following year in 1990. It occurred to me if we could get the USSR, which I presumed had done some studies of UFOs over the years, that we could get their files and talk to their experts about what they might know. And so have a couple of beers with Nikolai Caprano. He fills me in on his background. A physicist who'd taught Russian cosmonauts how to spot U.S. nuclear submarines from space. But it wasn't a bar where my future wife worked at the time.
