The Story of a Cat on a Ship

Many cats became known for their services on ships, for the role of being well ship cats. That was a literal position that was officially recognized by several navies. The main purpose of having those pets on board was to fight against rodents. And so our story to day is about one such cat known as sam - but it wasn't originally called sam.
