What Is Tourette's Disorder?

Vocal ticks only persistent vocal tick disorder is actually quite rare. We don't often see patients coming in children or adults that only have vocal ticks and again I'm going to explain this a little bit more in a minute. Tourette's has become kind of a catch all term for all sorts of things including rage out burst it means you pull your hair it means you wash your hands it means you're angry, you can't pay attention. So, my definition Tourette's disorder means only that you have motor and vocal ticks occurring longer than one year.
