The Tension Between Altruism and Returns to Investors
The region is very much in the crosshairs of impact investment funds and pools of capital globally from an LP perspective that are doing ESG related things. We've invested in a company called Eruify which provides, you know, these sort of relatively small loans for tuition in markets like the Philippines and Indonesia. But of course we're not purely impact investors and in fact we're not impacting investors where we're a VC firm and a VC fund.
