One of the greatest examples i've heard to kind of help identify that status quo biass is to take a look at something you have in your closet, or if you are doing an inventory of the things you have,. Ask yourself, would you pay to buy that thing brand new if you didn't already own it? And and the answer for most of us is, we have tons of stuff that we would not pay again to own if we Didn't Already Own It.
