The Future of Natural Gas Pipelines
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission had jurisdiction over natural gas pipelines, which is relatively complete. There's not an equivalent process for the multi-state transmission line. I think we probably left too much on the table as far as compromise on jurisdiction with states such that a court effectively gutted the law. But there's no turning back now. We've got a continent worth of low carbon resource. If we can't connect the dots, shame on us.
